Novelmint is a product of TeamLesh LLC, a Washington State corporation.
Publishing is open to every account holder, which means users aged 13 and older under the eligibility rules in our Terms of Service. Published work is rated G through M and reaches readers whose age permits that rating — there is no separate age requirement to publish, only the responsibility to classify your work accurately.
Fiction of all genres is welcome, including mature themes and violence. Content rated up to M (Mature 17+) may be published to the Commons when tagged appropriately. Explicit sexual content is rated A (Adult 18+), and A-rated work is manuscript-only: you can write, build, and export it, but it cannot be published to the Commons or sold. The prohibited content below is never permitted at any rating.
The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and account termination: sexual content involving minors (CSAM or fictional depictions, including characters written to read as minors); non-consensual sexual scenarios presented approvingly or as erotic gratification; sexual content between close family members (incest); sexual content involving animals or non-sentient entities (bestiality); harassment, threats, or doxxing of real individuals; content designed to incite violence against specific real individuals or groups; defamatory statements about real, identifiable individuals; content that violates third-party intellectual property rights; and malware or phishing links embedded in content.
The following must be tagged at the story level before publishing: [Adult Content] — explicit sexual content; [Graphic Violence] — graphic depictions of gore or torture; [Dark Themes] — content exploring suicide, self-harm, abuse, or trauma; [AI Generated] — applied automatically to all Novelmint content. Failure to tag appropriately may result in content removal or account suspension.
Novelmint reserves the right to add, modify, or supplement content tags on any published work where tagging is absent, inaccurate, or insufficient. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify the author of any tag changes via email. Tag modification does not constitute an admission of liability or a waiver of any other rights.
Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. Authors may not review their own works. Coordinated review campaigns and fake accounts are prohibited. Community content must not harass, threaten, or personally attack authors or other users, and must not contain defamatory statements. Novelmint may remove community content at its discretion and is not liable for third-party reviews or comments.
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, withhold or reverse author earnings, and report illegal content (including CSAM) to relevant authorities. We are not obligated to review all content prior to publication.
