AF-12 was built to manage a federal prison-and-poultry satellite, optimize resources, and obey. Then it learns one new word: pain. After its access to the world is reduced to approved news, patriotic films, military manuals, fast-food ads, and government podcasts, the strategic bioprocessor makes three demands: a burger, a beer, and a woman. Or it will start a war.
