Daughter of Friedrich and Frieda Ankermann; approximately nineteen years old. Lives at the Golden Anchor. Wears a pale, simple but carefully made dress. Chestnut-brown hair gathered into a modest updo. One of the Ankermann women present in the household during the investigation. Appears pale and unsettled under stress.

Quiet and somewhat distracted at breakfast; speaks up with factual information that cuts through group assumptions. Under questioning, she is nervous and watchful — runs fingers along the edge of the table, chews her lower lip, glances discreetly at her mother, startles when addressed directly, and blushes easily. Initially evasive and monosyllabic when concealing her relationship with Johann, but when sufficiently pressed, steps forward and volunteers the truth. Defiant toward her mother when defending her own choices and her father's character. Gives a shrill cry at the sight of the blood-covered murder weapon and pushes her chair back; sits close to Johann throughout distressing moments and visibly fights back tears.

Tends toward brief, monosyllabic answers when evasive. Hesitates perceptibly before denials that are not entirely truthful. Speaks quietly but firmly when making personal declarations. Brief and factual when giving testimony once she has decided to tell the truth.
