Genna Busterson

1/3

from Genna's Line by Aram Wolfe

A sharp-eyed young surveyor with a pack full of maps, tools, and unwanted inheritance. Practical to the bone, Genna trusts measurements more than miracles, which becomes inconvenient when the world keeps bending around her. She wants one thing more than fame: to be known by her own name, not her father’s.

Identity

Physical & Factual

23, A practical young woman with a surveyor’s build: lean from walking roads, carrying gear, and working outdoors. She dresses for function, not display: sturdy boots, worn field coat, headband, satchel/pack, measuring tools, maps, and oilcloth-wrapped folios. Her hair is always fighting her headband. She wears her father’s brass guild ring on her middle finger, though she hates what it represents. Later, she wears handmade smoked-glass “sunglasses” made from ale bottle bottoms and wire. Often dusty, soot-streaked, windblown, and visibly tired, but always alert.
