About the Author
In 2003, Birgit C. Wolgarten published her highly acclaimed crime debut Land der Mädchen (Land of the Girls). It was followed by two Rügen crime novels, Und es wurde Nacht (And It Became Night) and Der Tod der Königskinder (The Death of the King’s Children), which together went through fourteen print runs.
In 2014, she continued her successful series featuring detectives Katja Sommer and Sven Widahn with Der Zorn des schwarzen Engels (The Wrath of the Black Angel).
Her latest mystery thriller, Beyond My Name, is also set on the island of Rügen — a captivating blend of suspense, mystery, and psychological depth.
