Fire, Water, Earth, Wind.

Four primordial pillars of existence, woven into the very marrow of creation.

For centuries untold, their radiant currents had slumbered in exile, ripped from the mortal realm during the catastrophic purges of the First Era.

Only now, through the desperate sacrifices of fallen sorcerers, had the elemental embers rekindled—thrust back into a world on the brink of total annihilation.

The Great Divide was bathed in crimson and suffocating black. The ground shook beneath the thunderous advance of the Dark Legions, a merciless horde orchestrated by the iron will of the Dark Mistress. Above the ruined plains, the sky itself bled, choked with the sulfurous venom of forbidden sorcery.

From the crest of a jagged obsidian ridge, Nessa Dark looked down upon the carnage. Her robes swirled like living shadows, dripping dark miasma that withered the grass beneath her boots. She raised her gnarled scepter, and an ear-splitting screech tore across the blood-soaked valley, a sound so vile that it curdled the blood of the weary soldiers below.

“YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME!” Nessa shrieked, her cruel laughter echoing like rolling thunder across the cracked earth.

“Look upon your fallen! Your light is an ember waiting to be smothered, and this realm belongs to the dark!”

The horrific malice behind her words hit the surviving White Mages like a physical blow. Men and women dropped to their knees, their protective shields flickering out, sheer despair plain on their pale faces. Hope was rapidly bleeding out beneath the shadow of her encroaching legion.

Amidst the swirling ash and roaring flames, Flora Reid stood tall, her scarlet cloak whipping violently in the gale. The pure, untamed fire within her veins burned hotter than the surrounding inferno, but the weight of the realm bore down upon her shoulders. She turned toward the tempest, crying out against the roar of spellfire.

“Aira! Earta! Aquata! Take my hands! We end her reign today!”

Her desperate plea carried across the field, but before her boots could carry her forward, a firm, armored hand caught her wrist. She whipped around, her flames flaring on instinct, only to freeze.

It was Prince Dark of Flarera.

His breastplate was dented and scorched from the vanguard skirmish, streaks of soot smudging his sharp jawline, yet his gaze remained an anchor in the storm. For a man born to the dark shadows of Flarera’s royal dynasty, the devotion in his eyes was blindingly fierce. He drew her close, shielding her from a stray volley of dark magic that shattered against his iron gauntlet.

“Do not face this darkness alone,” he urged, his voice low, laced with conviction. “We fight her together. We purge this land of her sickness, and when the dawn finally breaks upon a peaceful world… marry me, Flora.” Flora’s breath stopped. Beneath the smoke and fury of the end times, the raw vulnerability in his proposal struck straight to her core.

“I will,” she said, fierce and low. He leaned down and captured her lips in an impassioned, desperate kiss that seemed to halt the very turning of the world. Sparks of chaotic fire and protective dark energy entwined between them. Murmurs of sheer astonishment rippled through the battered front lines even in the throes of mortal terror, nobody had dreamed the noble, brooding Prince of Flarera would surrender his heart to the untamable Flame of Chaos.

“FLORA! MOVE! NOW!” Aira’s voice sliced through the haze like a tempest blade.

Flora pulled away, locking eyes with the prince one last time. “Stay alive,” she demanded, the blaze in her eyes igniting anew.

She turned and sprinted toward her three companions. Aira Floze stood poised, her boots scarcely touching the stone as whirlwinds spun beneath her palms. Earta Moon slammed her fists down, shattering the approaching horde with jagged earth spires. Aquata Loon swept vast torrents of mystical water across the burning flanks, dousing the cursed flames and shielding their position.

As Nessa Dark descended from the ridge, levitating on wings of obsidian fire with black lightning crackling at her fingertips, the four young women formed a sacred circle.

They locked hands, skin meeting skin, closing the circuit of creation itself.

Heat, tempest, bedrock, and tidal fury coalesced into a blinding vortex. Their eyes began to glow with ancient radiance, and with heads tilted back toward the weeping sky, their voices merged into a seamless, deafening incantation that shuddered through the roots of the earth.

“Cum vis elementorum per orbem totum oritur, quattuor custodes advoco, ut Nessam vincant et huius belli malum exstinguant!”

The words tore the veil between mortal realm and myth.

A monumental pillar of many-colored light pierced through the storm, obliterating the dark clouds and bathing the ruined battlefield in brilliant, celestial dawn. From the roaring vortex high above, four primordial elemental dragons materialized, their colossal wings sweeping back the shadows, their deafening roars announcing that the reign of the Elements had returned.
