終電で眠りこけて、ふと目を覚ますと、車内には誰もいなかった。 降り立ったのは、聞いたこともない名前の見知らぬ終着駅。 ホームに取り残されたのは、私を含めて六人の乗客。 やがて、駅の電光掲示板に謎めいた時刻が六つ浮かび上がった。そして乗客たちのスマートフォンが一斉に震えだす――まだ起きていない事故を伝える、明日付けの訃報だった。 駅長が宣告した。 その時刻は、それぞれの死亡予定時刻。そして、この駅から出られるのはたった一人だけ。 しかし六人のうち、死亡予定時刻が表示されているのは五人だけ。 なぜか、私の時刻だけがない。 そもそも、なぜ私はここにいるのか。 そして駅長は、さらに意味のわからないことを口にした。 *「この駅を呼び出したのは、あなたです」* 死を宿命づけられた者だけが集う駅で、運命に抗う一夜が始まる。
