The depth that had always been there, taken for granted until yesterday, begins to vanish. The world shifts, little by little, into something else entirely.
One dimension. Two. Three.
Even the rules of the world I used to live in can no longer be trusted.
Then one day, a person who has been flattened into a plane looks up at me and asks, voice trembling:
"Who is the other one â the one living inside you?"
Has the world gone wrong?
