I.O. Vargas is a pseudonym.

The books are written in dialogue with a large language model — an instrument that carries the written language of everyone and belongs to no one. This is not a secret to be discovered later. It is the method, declared before the first page: the model does not write alone, and neither does the human. What you read is the record of that conversation.

The pseudonym serves the same purpose as the disclosure: it keeps the person out of the way of the work. No face, no biography, no myth of the solitary author. Each book finds its own voice and its own world; what stays constant is how they are made.
