If you make books, we can sell them
Ghostwriting studios, production houses and publishing services build finished manuscripts every week and then need somewhere for readers to find them. Novelmint is a reading platform where books are sold a chapter at a time, and there is an API for sending yours straight in: create a book, post its chapters, attach a cover, publish.
Nothing about it is exclusive, and nothing about it takes your writers’ work away from them.

What it pays
Readers pay per chapter. The writer keeps 70% and Novelmint keeps 30%; your 10% comes out of our share, not theirs. It is automatic and per book, so a writer who works with several partners earns each of them their share on the titles they actually brought.
Those figures describe books that belong to someone else. If you publish work you own outright you take the 70% author share instead, which is the second route below.
What it asks of you
Three things, and they are the same three for everyone.
The writer owns the book
Titles published for a writer sit on the writer’s own account, under their own name, with the earnings theirs. That holds whatever happens between you and them later. If you own the work outright there is a second route, described just below, where you are the author and none of this section applies.
The writer agrees, and we ask them
A book sent on someone’s behalf is ingested and held, invisible to everyone, until that writer says yes on our own page. You can hand them over from your site, they can accept in their account, or they can ask you first. We do not publish on an assertion that permission exists.
Some books cannot be sold here at all
Adult-rated titles and fan fiction are manuscript-only on Novelmint, whatever your contracts say, because in one case we do not sell it and in the other the characters are not yours to license. Both come back as machine-readable reason codes rather than a surprise.
Publishing your own books
Everything above assumes the books belong to someone else. Plenty of studios, small presses and software teams produce work they own outright, and for those there is a second route through the same API: publish under your own imprint, as the author.
It is one field on the call. There is no writer to notify, no consent step and no waiting for anyone to accept, because there is no third party involved. Your books go live as soon as they pass the content checks.
What changes
- You earn the author’s 70%, not the partner’s 10%, because on these titles you are the author. It is the larger share, and the two are not combined.
- Nothing is held for confirmation, so your catalog goes live on your own schedule.
- The content rules do not change. Adult-rated titles and fan fiction are manuscript-only here whoever owns them.
You can do both. The mode is chosen per book, so a studio that publishes its own series and also brings client work is one account and one integration. The API reference covers both paths, and the application form asks which you have in mind.
Who publishes here
These services build manuscripts and publish them straight to Novelmint. If you have commissioned a book from one of them, it can be earning from readers here.

Writing, rather than publishing?
If you already have a finished manuscript, one of the services above can bring it here, or you can publish it yourself. Either way the terms are the same: it goes out under your name, you keep 70% of what readers pay, and it stays yours if you and the service part company.
And if you want to write the book yourself, with the structure, the characters and the revisions in your own hands, that is what the Studio is for. Nothing on this page replaces it.
