Interview with Veronica

Author of Just One More Reason

Published October 2, 2026

Tell readers a little about yourself.

I'm Veronica, a storyteller who has always been drawn to quiet emotions, complicated relationships, and the little moments that stay with us long after they happen. I love creating stories about love, loss, memory, and the things people leave unsaid. When I'm not writing, I enjoy exploring creative ideas and finding inspiration in everyday life.

When did you start writing, and what got you going?

I started writing because I wanted a place to turn the stories and emotions in my head into something real. At first, writing was simply a way to explore ideas and characters, but over time it became something I genuinely loved. I was drawn to stories that made people feel something, especially the quiet moments that are easy to overlook in everyday life.

Why did you choose your pen name?

Because i like this character of my name

What are you working on right now?

I'm currently working on Just One More Reason, a slow-burn literary romance about love, separation, memory, and the letters people leave behind.

How would you describe your latest book to someone who's never heard of it?

Just One More Reason is a quiet, melancholic romance about a forgotten letter that brings an old love back into Evelyn's thoughts and forces her to face memories she thought she had left behind.

Did this story start with an image, a voice, an idea, or a problem?

Start with a song and i imagined that song to scene of novel

Which of your characters is your favorite, and why?

Evelyn is probably my favorite because she feels deeply, even when she rarely says what she feels. She holds on to old things, memories, and small pieces of the past, while quietly learning that not everything can be preserved forever. There is a softness to her, but also a strength she hasn't fully discovered yet.

What's something about your main character that only you know?

Evelyn has always been better at preserving other people's memories than facing her own. She keeps things that others might throw away, but she is not nearly as good at keeping the people she loves.

Who is the ideal reader for your book?

My ideal reader is someone who enjoys slow-burn romance, emotional stories, quiet mysteries, old letters, complicated memories, and characters who take their time finding their way back to each other
