Dao Chantarangsi, a criminal psychologist, is used to searching for the reasons behind human behavior. Earth Rattanakul, a forensic physician, trusts evidence over assumptions. The two are brought together by a death first assumed to be a suicide. But one inconsistency after another leads them to a secret far larger than they ever imagined. Behind lives that seem perfectly ordinary lie crime, family conflict, and supernatural forces that slowly blur the line between reality and the unseen. As they pursue the truth, two women from very different worlds find themselves bound together by something neither of them ever planned.
