The Velari’s Lament.

A stolen song. A broken trust. A love born in the dark.

Lumina Thaloriên, a feisty young lady, is one of the last Velari: a rare race of beings known for their breathtaking beauty and magical voices that can heal the sick, grant prosperity… or destroy.

For Cycles, they have been hunted by both humans and wolves who would kill or cage them for that power. Lumina trusts only one person, until that person betrays her.

Sold to a cruel, noble Alpha to settle a gambling debt owed by her best friend, Lumina becomes a prisoner in a world where her song is no longer a gift, but a weapon turned against her.

However, Duke Fenris Dreadmoor isn’t just her captor.

He’s her mate.

As enemies close in and a battle brews over the power in her voice, Fenris must decide: leave Lumina a broken song in someone else’s cage… or become the force that sets her free forever.
