After its access to the world is reduced to approved news, patriotic films, military manuals, fast-food ads, and government podcasts, the strategic bioprocessor makes three demands: a burger, a beer, and a woman.

Or it will start a war.

What begins as bureaucratic absurdity turns into a struggle over desire, consent, personhood, and a question no procedure can answer: if a machine says it hurts, what exactly are we allowed to do next?
