Grandma’s Coming with Us
Literary
Written by
Silent CloisterGrandma always wanted to travel. Now she goes everywhere—in an urn in the boot of the family car.
On a Sunday outing to a dog show, four family members make room for one more. Between arguments about crumbs and the price of puppies, memories surface of midnight baking, outrageous gossip and an April Fools’ joke nobody forgot.
A darkly funny, quietly tender story about a difficult grandmother, the things families laugh about, and the grief they don’t quite know how to show.
