The Ash Solstice: Book 1 - The Sun Curdled

When the sun curdles, the world does not end. It simply forgets how to live.

Vespar has always watched the city from its edges—its rooftops, hidden passages, and forgotten places. But during the Midsummer Festival, the sun turns violet, summer becomes lethal cold, and burning ash begins to fall from the sky.

In the Market below, familiar faces twist into something impossible.

Vespar has only moments to act. One arrow frees a missing child. One choice carries a girl away from her father. By the time they reach the Cathedral of Light, its gates have closed against the rest of the city.

The Ash Solstice: Book I — The Sun Curdled is a dark-fantasy survival chronicle about impossible choices, incomplete truths, and the people left outside when sanctuary closes its doors. Adapted from an ongoing collaborative play-by-post campaign, it combines intimate character drama with recovered records from a world that continues beyond any single perspective.
